Sedum in NEON

Neon2

Here’s a plant to brighten a rainy fall day -  Sedum ‘Neon,’ with its bubble gum-colored blossoms.  It’s a nice change from the deservedly popular ‘Autumn Joy,’ which has similiar growth characteristics and more subdued flowers.

And yes, there’s a bit of insect damage visible in this photo.  So get over it.

I am so over it!!! It took me along time to get there though. I do have to control the slugs better next year! They really made a mess this year.

Beautiful sedum. I have never even heard of ‘Neon’. Will have to go scout it out.
Please forgive the made up email, but after changing providers, I have not received one spam email and so I am very leary about using an email address. I have wanted to comment on many other posts, but as soon as the old email line came up, I hit the back button. So I hope you don’t mind the fake address as I sure would like to comment now and then!

Zoey, can you fix it so that your blog shows instead of an email address? In any event, made-up email is no problem since I know where to find you!

I have some Sedum that’s pink rather than that awful rust red and I love it. I divide it almost every year and plant it around. I think it’s called Showy Stonecrop instead of Autumn Sedum but I’ll have to look it up. I love the Neon.
