I’m thoroughly convinced of the need for good composting instruction for homeowners because on all the green or gardening Yahoo groups I subscribe to there’s no END to the questions about it. That’s why I surveyed people’s experiences with composting and compiled it all in one place on the DC Urban Gardener website.
So I was browsing the podcasts on my MP3 player and stumbled upon Emma Cooper talking about getting her Master Composter training and certification over in Oxfordshire, England and I’m instantly SOLD on the program. Here’s my article about it on Organic Gardener.com.

The hardest part about composting is in getting enough when I need it! So I think I might indeed need instructions!

I’m a worm composter. Been taking my worm bin to the local humane society day camp to demo to the kids. It’s been fun and the kids have been really enthusiastic about playing with the worms!
was wondering if you knew where to get info on the compost bin Paul James had on his show last week (Sept 21) 4 metal corner posts with slots for 5 slanted boards. Thank you.
I live in Maine and participated in the master gardener program here a few years ago and I’m pretty sure we also have a specific master composter program, I bet other extension programs throughout the US do too.
Saw the same Paul James compost bin feature and I too can not find the metal corner posts – any ideas where Paul got these?
Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Have you found the metal corner posts that Paul James used to build his compost bin, It was built from an idea of Sir Albert Howard, really would like to find those corner posts
Look at Composters.com for the corner backets to make the bin Paul James calls his favorite.
