I have a Golden Showers in the back that I do nothing with--NO watering whatsoever--which is blooming now, and I have stopped spraying anything on the others I have. The old varieties particularly continue to do well. There is also some kind of old pink one in the back alley that gets no attention from anyone--no one "owns" it--and continues to produce beautiful large blooms once a year. Eliz.
