I love the idea of a holding garden, but had never thought of it. Perfect! I have about an acre of land, and am always wanting to move something, or have something new that I'm now sure where I want to put - and I'm definitely a proponent of 'slow' gardening. Wonderful! Thanks.

My sister uses an old, worn-out patio umbrella to shade stuff until she's ready for it. Prettier than a tarp, and it gives the umbrella too ugly for the patio a "2nd life".
