I never remember to wear gloves, in fact I usually don’t like wearing them for planting and such , but have the leather or suede ones for working around the roses and raspberries and if I have a lot of mulch or something like that to work with, or maybe a lot of raking.

I heart my pea green suede leather gloves. My nitrile ones have been relegated to trellis building because they’re so tacky (in the sticky sense) and save my hand a lot of effort cutting and fitting the copper. But they make my hands REALLy sweaty, which I don’t like. I prefer how the suede is thick (no rose thorns) but still soft and breathable. Even when they get wet, they’re not uncomfortable.

I average a pair of the green one every month or two. I spend a small fortune on gloves. I always get holes in the right one. Pointer finger top and left side. Always the same! LOL.

I love gardening gloves. I usually buy the cheap brown kind. They don’t last too long though. I have never seen the rubber ones. I will have to look for a pair like that. How handy they would be!
